About Us

About Us

Harlem Hands Foundation, Inc. (HHF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the youth of Harlem by addressing the critical issues of education, health, and poverty. Rooted in the heart of Central Harlem, we recognize the urgent need for effective, community-focused initiatives that create lasting change.

Despite demographic shifts over the past two decades, Central Harlem continues to face some of the highest rates of poverty, chronic illness, and educational disadvantage in New York City. Our community experiences disproportionate challenges, including lower levels of educational attainment and higher rates of heart disease, obesity, and diabetes.

At HHF, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. Through targeted programs and essential resources, we work to empower Harlem’s youth and young adults—building a healthier, more equitable future for generations to come.
